Kumiko's brand new series is "Kintsugi Bear of Resilience."  As a neurotic depression survivor, her theme of art making has been always "resilience," and "survival."  In 2002, her neurotic depression got lifted when she started painting in Manhattan.  That miraculous experience led her converted from marketing professional to artist.  She has gone through several miracles since then, one of which is that she was able to repair her broken red clay sculpture head with the art of Kintsugi(a modern version) in twenty years.  That head sculpture was named, "Resilience Head" and won Finalist Award in "5th Open" by Art Show International Gallery in 2022.
